Photo: My idea of a colorful street in Philadelphia.
I have been passing by the colorful 2100 block of Stanley St in the Strawberry Mansion section of Philadelphia for years. So today I took the opportunity to jump out of my car and snap off a few frames. Maybe the people are related or they just like color. Either way the street stands out. Photo: A dog with an eye of freedom. What should I do?
As I was driving north of Broad at near Walnut I noticed this dog running loose so I hooked a U and went back to look. Turns out I have a soft spot for dogs and the last thing I wanted was to see the old boy get hit by a car. Then I noticed this guy with a pug and leash with no dog. Only thing is the dog had a taste of freedom. Luckily it did not run out into traffic. I tried to make a shot from the car while in traffic. I know its not much of a shot but it still tells the story. Alejandro A. Alvarez / Philadelphia Daily News / © 2012 Philadelphia Media Network

Photo: Funny accident for me but not for the guy in the SUV. City Hall, Philadelphia
I spotted this guy in SUV yelling at a cabbie because the cabbie probably cut him off so he could make the turn onto Filbert St near the CJC. Eventually the cabbie tired to separate himself as police yelled at him to stay still and he ripped the bumper off the guys SUV. Lets just say he was not happy.
