Kirin McElwain, 25, and boyfriend Ellis Kim, 29, start their cross country bicycle trip from the steps of the Philadelphia Art Museum on Monday, May 14, 2012. They are traveling from Philadelphia to San Francisco on a personal adventure and strengthening of relationship according to Ellis. Kirin is a cellist and Ellis worked as a Transportation Engineer.
