Philadelphia police are investigating along N. 27th St. at Sergeant St where earlier a pedestrian found a box containing a newborn baby on Wednesday morning December 21, 2011. According to police the baby is alive and was allegedly taken to St. Christophers Hospital for Children here in Philadelphia. Alejandro A. Alvarez / Philadelphia Daily News
