Photo: #thenandnow #philly early 1900's photo of Chestnut across from Independence Hall

This morning I ( Alejandro A. Alvarez ) found myself near 5th and Chestnut St. in Old City Philadelphia and I remembered the historic photograph in the city archives. I would have tried for a better angle only there was one to many check points that I just did not want to deal with. According to the Department of Records this photograph of Chestnut St. west of S. 5th was taken in the early 1900's. It is interesting how much has changed.
