I struggled a bit to find landmarks that helped me figure out which side of the intersection to take this picture from, but I decided based on the rowhouse at left that Fairmount Ave may have had trolley cars on it that this could be right. If you look closely there is one house that sticks out a little closer to the street then the others. The porches and windows on the top floors match as well. It looks as if the smaller of the original house has had a third floor added and that it looks kind of new leads me to believe I picked the right angle. Also the street would be on the wrong side for this to be the NW corner of Fairmount and Front. My apologies if I got this wrong. Alejandro A. Alvarez / Philadelphia Daily News
